What IS a Spark?

Have you ever heard someone say, "I just read this book and got some great nuggets!" or "I brought home some wonderful nuggets from the conference last weekend!" Sure, we all have, and maybe you've said it yourself.
The problem with nuggets is three-fold:
  1. Nuggets are finite, or limited. (Confined)
  2. Nuggets prompt miserly attitudes and hoarding. (Stingy)
  3. Nuggets get smaller if you share them. (Diminish)
In comparison,
  1. Sparks are dynamic and unlimited in potential. (Not confined)
  2. Sparks are illuminating and beg to be given away. (Generous)
  3. Sparks spread revelation and increase when shared. (Growth)

Each of us has a spark of life
inside us, and our highest endeavor ought to be to set off that spark in one another.

~Kenny Ausubel

Sparks must be passed on or they will die. There have been many sources of sparks that have ignited growth, passion, vision, and sometimes questions in our personal lives.

It is our desire to pass those sparks on to you with the hope that they may kindle a flame in your life and that you in turn would pass a spark on to someone else.

Just like our lives, this website is a work in progress, so visit often for fresh sparks.
