Meet the Sparks for Life Family

Kevin and Patience Constance

Kevin and Patience first met in October of 1983. They jokingly say they have an arranged marriage, although in truth, it was just an arranged first date. They married in August of 1986, have four children and currently live in Pensacola, FL. Kevin has worked in a variety of industries, including his own flooring installation business and an independent marketing business. Patience has a work history including banking, paper delivery and retail. Since 1992, they have both held ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God. Youth and music ministry were the focus for 13 years while serving in Colorado, including Sectional Youth Director responsibilities and worship leading. With the move to Florida, Kevin has added Security Consultant to his resume and Patience started classes at PJC in August 2009. They look forward to what God has for them in the future.

Alex Constance

Alex is 20, and graduated from our homeschool in May of 2008, with 29 college credits. On December 5, 2008, he graduated from Basic Military Training with the United States Air Force; on February 13, 2009, he graduated from his first Tech School at Keesler AFB, MS, as a Distinguished Graduate; and on May 20, 2009, he graduated from Tech School at Sheppard AFB, TX, with a specialization in Instruments and Flight Controls. He is currently stationed at Yokota AB in Japan. Alex is also an accomplished guitar player. He taught himself the basics at age 11 and has continued to grow. He likes writing his own music, and he played guitar on Patience's CD. Two other interests he has are medieval history and metalworking. He put the two together and built his own suit of armor. He is an avid reader, talented craftsman and has a bright future ahead.

    Danielle Constance

Danielle is 17, and is a Senior in our homeschool. She is also dual enrolling at Pensacola Junior College and is pursuing a degree in photography. Friends and relationships are important to Danielle and she is very giving. She's very close to her sisters and does a lot to help them whenever she can. She loves to cook and her family benefits greatly from her skill. Drawing is something she has played around with and it's always fun to see what she will come up with next. She got her driver's license around her birthday in October 2008, so if you live in Pensacola, watch out! She is teaching herself to play the guitar and traveling is on her agenda too, with London being at the top of the list. And if there's ever a time you cannot find her, you might want to check the roof!

Rebekah Constance

Rebekah is 11 and in 5th grade in our homeschool. We call her our smiley girl because most of the time, there will be a smile on her face and a brightness about her. She also has a large collection of smiley guy items, from balls, to bookmarks, to postcards, to pencil sharpeners. Horses are a passion for her. She studies her horse books often and can tell you many things about the different breeds. When she was younger, she galloped around the house on hands and knees, just like a horse. Beyond her mother's comprehension, Rebekah also loves bugs and frogs. She has a collection of bug watching paraphernalia (mostly so the bugs won't be loose in the house!) She loves music and has recently begun teaching herself to play the recorder. Just like her brother, she's always coming up with new ideas and one of her goals is to have her own restaurant. She loves drawing pictures and many times amazes her mother with her depth of thought.

Victoria Constance

Victoria is 9 and in 3rd grade in our homeschool. Her curls are natural and so is her tendency to talk to everyone she meets. She loves people, especially her big sister, Danielle, and plans to move in with her when she leaves home! Victoria likes different textures, loves to touch and see how things feel. Family is important to her and she loves to give lots of hugs. She would like to learn the piano and will begin that very soon. Victoria is good-natured and can make a new friend anywhere she goes. When she's waiting in the store for her sister to try on clothes, the people nearby know everything about us by the time we leave! She will be a great networker when she grows up, and well-loved by those she meets.
